The Safety Sleeper® is recommended for ages 3 years and up. Weight requirements depend on your mattress strength. Our air mattress can hold up to 300 lbs. and all beds come with a waterproof memory foam mattress that can hold up to 450lbs. Our beds can comfortably fit children, teens, adults, and senior citizens.

The Safety Sleeper® has a low center of gravity which lends to it not tipping easily. For extra security The Safety Sleeper® comes with 2 velcro stabilizing straps that firmly connect our frame ​to your bed frame. Our straps work for traditional bed frames as well as hospital grade frames. This removes the potential for tipping the bed off of its frame.

The Safety Sleeper® is the only home and away enclosed bed for individuals with special needs. Safety is the priority whether it’s sleeping soundly through the night, or making visits to specialized doctors possible. Additionally, The Safety Sleeper® is fully customizable to your loved one's likings and makes a beautiful addition to any bedroom. We understand the need for a safe space for your loved one when traveling, so we made sure The Safety Sleeper® can be built and taken down quickly by a family or single parent.

No. Instead of traditional fitted sheets, The Safety Sleeper® comes with custom coverlet sheets. The coverlet functions as the sheet for your bed. It is designed to fully enclose the mattress and has a hidden zipper. There is a separate video about the coverlet on our website. Depending on your needs, the coverlets can be modified to include incontinence padding.
