"Last weekend I had to unexpectedly get a hotel room for 2 nights because an ice storm around my area knocked down power lines which left me with no power for 4 days. I had to get a hotel room for myself and 4 kids so I packed up The Safety Sleeper in it's handy suitcase and took it to the hotel with me. It worked out perfectly for my special needs son who has Down Syndrome and Autism. I cannot tell you how much it eliminated even more headaches than I already was having as a single mom of 4."

Often, yes. Insurance coverage varies from state to state, and every insurance provider is different. We can walk you through the steps to get that started. Having documented conversations with your doctor or therapist about the difficulties your child is having with sleep is a key component. A medical letter of necessity will need to be written. Our team can walk you through all of this. If you have not already reached out to email@example.com, please do so today!
Our beds come with zip in coverlet sheets that are fully entrapment proof. If parents want to include blankets, pillows, or stuffed animals, this is at their own discretion. This is the same for parents with infants in a crib. Pillows and blankets can create a suffocation hazard, so discuss this with your doctor before trying.
It all began with Abram.
Rose built the first of our beds for her son Abram who has autism. She needed a way to keep him safe and comfortable through the night. She shared her invention with fellow parents of special needs children and saw a real need for enclosed beds within this community. Word of The Safety Sleeper® slowly spread from family to family, touching households from Pittsburgh to Australia. Over a decade and thousands of beds later, we are proud to serve the special needs community around the globe.
